About the designer

Design. My first love.

In fourth grade, when most girls my age were thumbing through teen heart-throb magazines, I was poring over Architectural Digest. I grew up drawing 3D remodels for my childhood home, and took independent study architecture in High School. I began at Michigan State University as an interior design student, and then dipped my toe in Building Construction Management. I ultimately graduated with a Psychology Degree, but never stopped loving architecture and design.

These days I spend most of my time designing websites and software, but have developed a love for virtual design. What began as a practical project to advertise my rental property, budded into a minor obsession. Whether it was designing the home we hoped to build, houses on the market my brother was considering, or designing a patio for my in-laws; I decided it was time to pursue this thing more seriously.
